Fun, Fun!!

Jeff used to make fun of me for saying, "fun, fun" all the time, and now my sister Kristina keeps telling me that I'm always saying "for sure!" Well, we've been having fun, fun, for sure!!! :) I'll just play a little random catch up with my photos once again! Enjoy!

I took these photos when I busted out the Fall decorations! Alison just loved the lights. Can't wait til' Christmas!

Chad ALWAYS has play dates and is ALWAYS asking for play dates, but every once in a while we have someone over for Kyle to play with. Here he is playing with his little buddy Ben! When Ben's mom, Kerri, came to pick him up and I told her to let him stay a bit longer, what she didn't see was that the boys put up the tupperware against the door so she couldn't come get him! It was pretty cute!!! Ben loves Alison already, too! Maybe a little too much!!

Last week, Jeff took the boys kayaking and camping at a reservoir up by Huntsville with our friend Casey and his two boys. "Fun, Fun!!!" Despite the cold weather, the rocky terrain to sleep on, and the not-so-perfect camping gear, they had a blast! Kyle even took some time to "meditate" up on the hill! Alison and I sure enjoyed our time together! :) I have a new little addiction for making flower clips and bows and used our time to shop for some fun supplies! You'd think that I would've caught up on my sleep while they were gone, but I totally stayed up way past my bedtime just organizing my new ribbons! No pictures, but keep your eye out for them to appear on Alison in the posts to come! (BTW, my friend Suzanne has a website with the most darling "decorations" for girls! It's called theprettypetal.com. Check it out!)

This past weekend, my sister Kristina came up with her kids and one of their cousins and we went to the zoo. I won't say it....oh, you're all thinking it anyway...Fun, Fun!!! Her little Tiari got sooo excited to see all of the animals. The boys loved being with their cousins! We all rode on the carousel and the train, gazed at all of the lovely animals, and begged for more time to play! Alison's first time on the rides, and she loved them! We each only lost one of our children! Can you guess who?

And finally, on Monday we met up with Jamie and Landon for our 2nd annual tradition of visiting the witches at Gardner Village. I didn't go crazy with the pictures this year, but we still enjoyed each witch! We had a nice picnic lunch followed by Kyle kicking dirt in Alison's face on accident! AAHH! We even bumped into Chad's preschool friend Paige! We took this picture just in case they need it for their wedding slide show some day!!! Cute girl!

My sister-in-law Sabrina, posted something about "their song." It made me think that I hadn't listened to "our song" for a really long time. Hence the Neil Diamond song that started playing as you read this really long post!

Hey girl, I love the Neil Diamond song. It is one of my favorite. I am so glad Jeff is getting out with his boys. Good job Jeff! What a great example you are to me, your are my hero's!!! Liz would you mind blogging on how to make the ribbons. Since Chey's haircut I have found that the ribbons would be a good idea. :) Please tell the kids we love them and give them hugs and kisses.

I will call you soon, because I have been trying to make bows and flowers for Abby, and want to see if you have any secrets. Your kids are so cute and I'm glad you got to see the Puriri cousins.

Fun, fun!

Poor Allison...Ben is a little over the top in his affection for her. Thanks again for having him. It was one of the best parts of my birthday!

I love all the pictures, but the camping and kayaking ones are really exciting! I'm so glad it worked out.

Well no wonder we haven't heard from you. You all have been having way to much fun, fun! Wish we were there! Gardener Village looks like a lot of fun. I would love to go to Thanksgiving Point at this time of the year.

I love when babies discover something new and fascinating. It's such magic for them - and us.

I laughed so hard when I read the first line because you do say "fun, fun" a lot. I never noticed until you put it on paper--or computer.

Sounds like fun. Want to go to "Boo at the zoo tomorrow?"

Love the post! So many cute pictures. Gardner Village is so much fun this time of year. I can't wait to see the bows you are making. It's addicting isn't it! But I do have a hard time finding the flowers. Do you have any suggestions besides Michaels and Roberts?

Your kids are well loved Liz. Not too many mothers enjoy playing with their kids as much as you do. They are so lucky! The camping trip looked beautiful and fun fun! I didn't know Neil Diamond sang "your song."

In "What About Bob" there is a line that says,"There are 2 kinds of people, those who love Neil Diamond, and those that don't" I am of the first!
