Yes, sweet Chad brought home our very first homemade paper ornament with his picture on it!
As my mother just reminded me, of course you make room for these! My Mom still has a hand-painted snowman with googly eyes made by me, AND she has the box I made to put it in! It doesn't go with her decor anymore, so I'll probably inherit it this year, but props to my Mom for hanging it up all these years! She used to even hang up a styrofoam cup that was baked so it would shrink to look like a bell that I made! Sometimes it was in the back of the tree, but it was there year after year! I'll try to be a good Mom like her! Let's see what Kyle brings home tomorrow! :)
Chad sure is handsome, huh? Check out Alison's teeth in the post below, and don't worry Karin, I'll be fair to Kyle and do a post all about him tomorrow after he does his pre-school Christmas caroling!

That rocks Liz! I love your tree and Chad and Kyle will feel so proud to have their ornaments displayed year after year! My kids enjoyed putting theirs up this year. I even put all of mine that I had saved from my Grandma. She would make us one every year. The oldest I found was from 1984!
I love the school ornaments. They make the kids so proud. So what if most of ours really ARE on the back of the tree? They're still there!
So handsome, and what a great ornament. I did spot it in your i-spy picture. I have a whole tree in my family room of ornaments brought home from school. It's also funny to see that each year the same grade makes the same ornaments. So I have a lot of the same ones. With the popcorn, paper chains, marshmallows/cranberries and pictures they've been drawing, we are pretty full. What a great collection you've started.
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I can't believe how old and cute he is! What proud parents you must be! Love ya!
Thats my whole tree! Now I love it because it makes me realize how quickly they are growing up!
