Yes...Christmas WAS three weeks ago! Yes...we had a wonderful holiday! Yes...I did take tons of pictures! Yes..I'm FINALLY going to share some of them with you! And Yes...I will have to share more in a few days when I get a few pictures off of my sister Diane's camera! So Yes...I'm leaving my Christmas background and music on for a few more days!
These first pictures are from Christmas Eve! Alison LOVED the wrapping paper...didn't love it being taken away from her! Aren't the boys so sweet with her? Our tradition is to get new jammies (of course) and new Christmas books to read together in our jammies. The boys also made treats for Santa, and Jeff helped them put together one last Nativity from the Friend magazine. It was a great evening!
Christmas morning this year started a little after 8:00 a.m. I am cherishing these years, because if my kids are anything like me, as they get older they will be so anxious that they will start waking up a lot earlier than that! I am also cherishing how simple our Christmas is! (You may not agree when you see the mess we made!) The boys each asked for such small things from Santa. Again, I know that this will change as they get older, but I'm loving it now! It doesn't take much to thrill them at this stage in their lives! We had a wonderful morning exchanging gifts, and then we packed up and rushed right down to St. George to be with all of my family for the next couple of days! (When I get the pictures from my sister, I will do another post about our St. George celebrations!)
Because this blog is my way of "scrapbooking" and "journaling," I put a lot of pictures on and don't like to skip things even when I'm a few weeks late! It's bound to happen A LOT in my life, but I KNOW you all (my dearest and most understanding friends and family) don't care when or what I put on here. If I was still trying to put a scrapbook together, you might NEVER see any of these pictures! Enough said!

I love the pictures! The one of Allison eating her present and the one of the two boys kissing her are two of my favorites.
And hey, I haven't even sent out my Christmas cards yet. You mean Christmas is over? Darn.
Love the pictures Liz! I'm so with you...these years are the best. The kids are so easy to please! Ellie asked for a "Frenchy" dog (Fancy Nancy books) and she was thrilled that she got it. Didn't even notice anything else for a long time! We could have just set out that and called it a day. :) Keep the Christmas blog and music up as long as you want. I like it!
I remember getting pj's for Christmas and that was the present we got to open on Christmas Eve. I love the book idea, too.
And those pictures. I agree with Kerri on those two pix; they're my favorite too.
My motto is..."It's never too late to post any picture or activity!" As you can tell by my blog I live by that motto. Cute pictures...I love the Christmas pajamas!
I am so glad you guys had a great Christmas! I'm glad you are back to blogging too. I love being able to keep in touch.
There is nothing wrong with making Christmas last!
Liz, we loved looking at your slide shows over and over again. Alison is so cute and I can just picture her crying when the wrapping paper was taken away. We love your kids and enjoy looking at your pictures. So we will patiently wait until you make time to post your next blog. I haven't had much to blog about myself lately. I hope you don't mind if I steal traditions from you? We do the pajamas but not the books.
Abby and I were taking a look again at these pictures and can't stand how cute Alison is. Your stockings turned out so cute, by the way.
