Easter Weekend!
I've come down from my SUGAR HIGH just in time to go to the dentist today!!! I made and ATE so many treats this weekend! Highlights of the weekend included: an egg hunt with our wonderful neighbors, a fun package from Pooh-pa and Grandma Blunck, Easter surprises from Grandma Hobson, coloring Easter eggs, a new book, movie, and game for the kiddos, our traditional bunny rolls (I wasn't going to do them, but that tradition thing gets me every time!), PLENTY of left-overs since we did Easter dinner by ourselves, playing Battleship with the boys, and my new favorite tradition...making Easter puffs! My Mom and Dad sent us the directions for retelling the Easter story using the scriptures and the ingredients to make cream puffs. It's a darling way to get the children involved and helped them to make some connections that they otherwise would miss in just reading the scriptures. I cried when we unsealed the oven door and read Matthew 28:6, and then again when we filled them and read John 3:16. A new tradition for sure!!! I am so thankful to feel my Savior's love in my life. I'm thankful to know that He died for us, and that He lives!!! We watched "The Lamb of God" before bed Sunday night, and I was reminded just how much our Savior went through and that he truly understands the things we each go through!

Such a fun slideshow, Liz. I need to get that cream puff lesson from you. It sounds like it turned out well.
Sounds like a great way to teach the kiddos the real meaning of Easter. Cute pics!
We ALMOST didn't do our cream puff lesson (cuz I was beyond exhausted) but Justin said "Mom, we HAVE to do it for Easter. And I'm so glad we did. It is such a fun tradition and a great way to focus on the true meaning of Easter. And cute no-bangs for you btw!
I would like your cream puff lesson, as well!

I CANNOT believe how big Alison is. Almost 1! Her hair is really cute. Thank you for your testimony Liz. My kids wished I kept more treat making traditions. Your knew one sounds spiritually sweet!
I finally have a new post on my blog!
Liz- As I was reading your post, I really felt fun, love and excitement. I felt family togetherness and I think God would be pleased. When I started to look at the pictures-All I could think was how darn cute those kids are and what handsome and beautiful your children have form both you and Jeff. I can only imagine the beauty they have inside from you both as well. I felt sadness too but only because I know that our kids aren't close enough to really know each other. I also realized how VERY MUCH I miss you all. PLEASE- give the kids and my brother a very BIG HUG for me and please have Jeff do the same to you for me. Love you guys!
P.S. Can I get the Creme Puff Lesson TOO? Please?
